Abbie Mundell

Associate

Abbie is a highly experienced commercial property disputes solicitor who has spent more than 20 years helping businesses resolve complex property issues with confidence. Clients value her calm, pragmatic approach, clear communication and ability to quickly understand the commercial objectives behind every instruction.

She believes the best legal advice is always practical, commercially focused and delivered in a way that makes life easier for clients. Whether supporting developers, investors, landlords, occupiers or public sector organisations, Abbie takes the time to build trusted relationships and provide straightforward advice that helps clients make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.

Abbie advises on the full spectrum of commercial property disputes, with particular expertise in landlord and tenant matters, development disputes, lease renewals, dilapidations, service charge disputes, breaches of covenant and complex litigation. She is equally comfortable advising on high-value disputes, mediations and strategically important matters where commercial judgement is just as important as legal expertise.

Before joining Estate Legal in 2017, Abbie built her career at Burges Salmon, Eversheds Sutherland and Clarke Willmott, where she worked alongside Amy and Bonnie. She also gained valuable in-house experience through secondments with major retail clients and advising on multi-million-pound development projects, giving her a genuine understanding of the commercial pressures and priorities her clients face.

Like the rest of the Estate Legal team, Abbie was attracted by the opportunity to work in a specialist boutique practice where relationships come first. Her approachable style, commercial insight and commitment to exceptional client service have helped her build long-standing relationships with clients and professional advisers across Bristol, London and beyond.
