Alex is a Chartered Legal Executive with more than 13 years' experience helping landlords, tenants and commercial property owners navigate disputes with confidence. She is known for her calm, organised approach and her ability to keep even the most complex matters moving forward efficiently, giving clients reassurance that every detail is being managed.
Working across a broad range of commercial property litigation matters, Alex understands that successful outcomes depend as much on communication and responsiveness as they do on legal expertise. Clients value her approachable nature, straightforward advice and meticulous attention to detail, particularly when managing matters with multiple deadlines, competing priorities and commercial pressures.
Alex has extensive experience advising on lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, forfeiture and possession claims, rent arrears recovery, dilapidations, insolvency-related issues and exercising break options. She plays a key role in managing large property portfolios for national retail and leisure clients, overseeing statutory deadlines, court timetables and complex lease management programmes while supporting the firm's senior lawyers on strategically important disputes.
More recently, Alex has advised tied pub tenants on matters relating to the Pubs Code Regulations, further strengthening Estate Legal's expertise within the hospitality and licensed trade sectors.
Before joining Estate Legal in 2024, Alex built her career at Eversheds Sutherland, CMS and Osborne Clarke, where she developed extensive experience acting for major commercial clients, including managing landlord and tenant matters for a national telecommunications provider.
